During the production of the Mister Jiu’s Cookbook, I moved into the neighborhood and used the back of the restaurant’s cocktail bar Moongate Lounge as my makeshift studio. On some nights, a simple recipe shoot could stretch into the wee hours, which led to some spectacular evening views of the avenue below.
