Firecrackers from the Wok Shop
Firecrackers from the Wok Shop
Tane at the Wok Shop hires the local lion dancers to perform nearly every Saturday afternoon. Traffic on Grant Ave pauses for about fifteen minutes as performers on Yau Gong Moon ward off evil via the lion dance. The performance always ends with the wok shop employees setting off a gigantic string of fire crackers. On this particular afternoon, Tane allowed me to shoot it from inside her shop.
